Punjab News: District Council and Panchayat Committee elections are going to be held in Punjab on Sunday, December 14, for which the administration is making strict arrangements. In this regard, the leave of police personnel has been canceled in Ludhiana, Punjab, due to which no police officer will be able to go home without permission until December 17.

It should be noted that the orders issued by the Ludhiana Police Commissioner’s office state that strict security arrangements are being made to maintain law and order and perform election-related duties during the District Council and Panchayat Committee elections. Therefore, all types of leave for all officers and employees of the Police Commissionerate, Ludhiana, have been immediately canceled.
