This year, Chennai-based Casagrand, a well-known real estate company, has decided to send 1,000 of its employees on a completely free week-long trip to London. This isn’t a competition or lottery, but rather a recognition of their hard work throughout the year. Each year, the company runs a special program for its employees, called the “Profit Share Bonanza.” Under this scheme, more than 6,000 employees have been taken to international destinations like Singapore, Thailand, Malaysia, Dubai, and Spain. People on social media are calling the company “the real estate company that makes dreams come true.”

The company will send 1,000 employees from India and Dubai to London in several batches. Their accommodation and travel arrangements will be nothing short of royal.

Arun MN, the company’s founder and MD, said that his team is truly the “soul” of the company. He said that many staff members are traveling abroad for the first time, and the joy on their faces is a source of great pride for the company. The trip is notably discriminatory—everyone will receive equal privileges and VIP services.

While many users are praising the company’s generosity, some are also angry. Some customers allege that the company is failing to deliver homes on time on many of its projects and that their payments are stuck. One user wrote, “Our homes were supposed to be delivered in 2023, but they’ve taken 95% of the payment and haven’t delivered yet. They’re using our money for trips.” Social media has been divided over the company’s move.
