    This incident occurred at Knot Dating, where an employee wrote an email to the company’s co-founder and CEO, Jasvir Singh, requesting leave. In the application, the employee told his boss that he had been unable to concentrate on his work since the breakup and wanted a few days off to recover mentally.

    Sharing a photo of the employee’s email, CEO Jasvir Singh wrote in his post, “Gen Z doesn’t do filters,” meaning today’s young generation doesn’t believe in hiding or faking their emotions.

    Jasvir further explained that his employee emailed him asking for leave. The employee’s reason for the leave was quite different from others. He clearly stated that he had recently gone through a breakup and was unable to concentrate on his work. He asked for a few days to gather himself.

    The email read, “I recently went through a breakup and am unable to focus on my work. I am working from home today and would like to take leave from the 28th to the 8th.” Jasvir Singh replied, “Leave approved, instantly.” Following this response(to get immediate leave) , the CEO is receiving widespread praise on social media.

    Jasvir Singh also provided a screenshot of his employee’s email. Shared, the post is going viral on social media. Many users praised the employee’s honesty and transparency.

    One user wrote, “Such honesty is rare.” Another added, “It’s a good thing that emotional well-being is being openly discussed in the workplace.” Some jokingly wrote, “People don’t take as much leave for marriage as they do for breakups.” To this, the CEO jokingly replied, “Breakups require more leave than marriage!”

    Rohtak: A heated argument broke out between female sanitation workers and officials at Maharshi Dayanand University (MDU) in Rohtak, Haryana. The women have leveled serious allegations against their superiors. The women worker asked for leave due to her period.

    The officials were informed of this, but a supervisor allegedly ignored their request and ordered them to remove their clothes and get their periods checked. This angered the female workers and they created a ruckus. The officials claim that the female worker manhandled them. The university registrar arrived at the scene and assured them of an investigation and action against the guilty officials. The victims shared their ordeal with senior officials.

    It is alleged that the supervisor, through a female security guard, forced the female sanitation workers to strip for an examination, violating their privacy and even taking photographs of them. This was done under the guise of an investigation, claiming it was an order from the Assistant Registrar.

    When the matter escalated, the female worker refused to comply, and an attempt was made to force her as worker asked for leave due to her period. Following this, other sanitation workers took the matter seriously, and a protest ensued. Student organizations also came out in support of the female sanitation workers and demanded the suspension of the accused. Dial 112 also arrived at the scene.

    Student leaders complained about the matter

    Student leaders Dinesh Kangra, Vikram Dumoliya, and Pradeep Mota arrived at the scene and complained to Professor Bhagat Singh, who was present to hear the case. They stated that the sanitation supervisor had called other sanitation workers employed by the Skill Employment Corporation to clean the sports complex.

    The female employees claim that two female employees were experiencing discomfort due to menstruation and worker asked for leave due to her period, and their supervisor was informed of this. Despite this, inappropriate action was taken against them. Dr. Bhagat Singh arrived at the scene and resolved the situation. He also assured that those involved in the misconduct will not be spared. If any wrongdoing is found in the investigation, they will be immediately dismissed.

    General Secretary of the Non-Teaching Employees Union, Ajmer Singh, stated that the non-teaching employees of MDU were not at fault in this matter. Some people are unnecessarily defaming the university. The entire matter will be investigated.

    Registrar K.K. Gupta, who arrived at the scene, stated that whatever wrongdoing has occurred with women at the university, we will investigate the entire incident. The supervisor has been removed and anyone found guilty in this matter will not be spared. He added that, if necessary, a case will be filed against the accused officials under the SC/ST Act. If such an act is done with any female employee in future, no one will be spared.
