According to reports, a half-day holiday has been announced for schools in Punjab’s Nawanshahr district. District Magistrate Ankurjit Singh has declared a half-day holiday for all schools in the Nawanshahr urban area on Friday, November 28th.
According to the orders issued, all government and private schools within the city limits will be closed after 12 noon. This decision was taken in view of the district-level Nagar Kirtan being organized to commemorate the 350th martyrdom anniversary of Shri Guru Tegh Bahadur Ji.
