Jalandhar: A half-day holiday has been declared for government and private schools and colleges on November 22nd in connection with the 350th martyrdom anniversary of Sri Guru Tegh Bahadur Ji. The order was issued by Deputy Commissioner Himanshu Aggarwal. The orders stated that a massive Nagar Kirtan is being held in the city on November 22nd.
Depends on the situation, the Nagar Kirtan will be attended by a large number of devotees. On this day, keeping in mind the religious sentiments of the people and the facilities of the school-college students, all the government and non-government villages falling within the limits of the Municipal Corporation will come together from 22-11-2025 at 12:00 onwards.
