School holiday on November 20th
Champawat: District Election Officer (Panchayat)/District Magistrate Manish Kumar informed that, as per the schedule announced by the Hon’ble State Election Commission, voting is scheduled to be held on November 20th, 2025, in Ward No. 7 of Village Panchayat Sailpedu, located in the Lohaghat development block of Champawat district, under the three-tier Panchayat by-election 2025.
To ensure a systematic election process, Primary School Chakuni (Salped) has been notified as a polling station. Therefore, a one-day public holiday is declared at the said school on November 20th, 2025 for election work.
