    The Rajasthan government has declared holidays for 2026. This holiday list was published by the Rajasthan government’s General Administration Department.

    You must be curious to know what changes have been made? And how many holidays have been reduced.

    Similarly, in 2026, three holidays will fall on Mondays which will add one more day to the weekend holiday list.

    As per this office order there are total 21 public and 19 optional or restricted holiday are there in Rajasthan.

    Government employees are allowed to take 2 days off out of 19 restricted holidays in 2026.

    3 holidays on 12 consecutive weeks

    Out of 12 weeks 7 weeks will have holidays on Friday followed by weekend offering 3 consecutive days off and 5 holidays will be on Monday following weekend. 2 local district holidays can be declared by District Collectors in their respective districts.

    Public holidays on Sunday

    Six public holidays will be on Sunday which will reduce the public holiday count by employees.

    • Devnarayan Jayanti-25 January
    • Maharishi-15 February
    • Parshuram Jayanti-19 April.
    • World Tribal Day-9 August
    • Navratri Sthapna-11 October
    • Diwali-8 November.

    Public holidays on Saturdays

    Three holidays will be on Saturday which which are

    • Idul Fitr-March 21
    • Jyotiba Phule Jayanti-April 11
    • Independence Day-August 15.

    Due to all these holidays mentioned above.

    Government holidays have been reduced by a total of nine days.

    Holidays on Monday

    • Republic Day – 26th January
    • Holi- 2nd March
    • Ramdev Jayanti and Teja Dashmi – 21st September
    • Durgashtami – 19th October
    • Govardhan Puja – 9th November.

    All these are five holidays will give employees three days continuous leave.

    Along with this, there will be two public holidays on Sunday also, which are Mahashivratri and Diwali.
