But you won’t have to be disappointed about holidays next year. In 2026, schools and offices may receive approximately 50 days of holidays. However, due to some festivals falling on holidays, the holiday calendar has reduced nine holidays for next year. For the next year, starting January 1, 2026, government employees will receive 31 public holidays and 19 optional holidays, making a total of 50 government holidays next year.
