Kerala government holiday list 2026
Thiruvananthapuram: The State Cabinet has approved the list of public holidays for 2026, including Maundy Thursday under the Negotiable Instruments Act. As a result, all banks and financial institutions will remain closed on that day. For establishments governed by labor laws, the Industrial Disputes Act, the Kerala Shops and Commercial Establishments Act, the Minimum Wages Act, and related laws, only the holidays specified under the Kerala Industrial Establishments (National and Festival Holidays) Act will apply. A local holiday for Holi has also been declared on March 4, 2026, which will apply to state government offices and public sector undertakings operating in New Delhi.

Further, on the occasion of Holi festival, Wednesday, March 4, 2026 will be declared a holiday for all State Government offices including Public Sector Undertakings operating in New Delhi:-
