Winter Holidays 2025 – Pre primary schools closed
Winter School Holidays 2025: Pre-primary schools in the Kashmir Valley and the colder parts of Jammu have been closed for winter vacation. The government stated that the decision was taken due to temperatures dropping several degrees below zero in Kashmir last week.
According to an official order, pre-primary schools will be closed for winter vacation from Wednesday, while classes for students in grades one through eight will end on December 1. Academic work for students in grades nine through 12 will cease on December 11.
Schools up to grade 8 will reopen on March 1 next year, while higher classes will resume a week earlier on February 22.
