Raipur: There is great news for school children, holiday has been announced for November 1st. The state government has declared a holiday on November 1st. The order has been issued. The Diwali and Chhath holidays recently ended. Now, the holiday on Saturday, November 1st, has brought joy to the children. According to the order, a holiday has been declared for all educational institutions. The General Administration Department (GAD) issued an order in this regard on Friday.
Government offices will remain closed
According to the order, all government, non-government, aided, and private educational institutions in the state will remain closed on Saturday, November 1st, 2025, to commemorate State Foundation Day. The GAD order states that this holiday will be applicable as a local/general holiday. Various programs will be organized in all districts, including the capital Raipur, on State Foundation Day. However, banks will remain open. Holiday has been announced for November 1st by state government.

More than 200 teachers will be on duty for the State Festival, 1,426 schools will be affected
200 government teachers will leave teaching and join the State Festival. Similarly, in numerous campaigns, teachers are engaged in various administrative tasks instead of fulfilling their primary teaching responsibilities. There are a total of 1,426 government schools in the district, in which 527,000 students are studying. Currently, around 36 apps and portals are running from primary to higher secondary schools. So, holiday has been announced for November 1st by government.
