The Election Commission has announced paid holiday for the Bihar assembly elections on November 6th and November 11th.

All employed electors will be given a holiday and all those employers will also be fined who will not issue a paid leave to his employees. ECI issued this holiday to allow all the voters to vote freely. without the stress of wage deduction and duty absence. All daily wage and other types of workers are also entitled to paid holidays.
